About us

About Antenna Shop Lab

We are currently developing a model that connects overseas products with opportunities in Japan, while also exploring ways to introduce Japanese products to Southeast Asian markets. Our work includes market research, product selection, sales channel development, test marketing, and validation of practical operating models. We are currently in the preparation stage for formal business launch and incorporation.

Why We Are Developing This Business

At the same time, simply bringing a product into a new market does not guarantee that it will be accepted on a sustainable basis. Consumer needs, culture, business practices, sales channels, pricing expectations, and purchasing behavior differ from one country or region to another.

For this reason, we believe it is important not simply to introduce what a company wants to sell, but to understand what the market actually needs and to evaluate how well a product or service fits that market. Southeast Asia is currently our primary focus, while we remain open to working with businesses and products from other regions as well.

What We Mean by “Antenna Shop”

We see it more broadly as a point of contact with the market — a place and mechanism where products can be introduced, experienced, tested, and evaluated through real market response. The approach may include retail stores, exhibitions, events, pop-up sales, collaboration with existing retailers, online channels, and partnerships with local businesses. We intend to compare and test multiple approaches rather than rely on a single sales format.

Connecting Japan and Overseas Markets in Both Directions

Our goal is not to create a one-way system. We do not simply introduce Japanese products overseas or overseas products into Japan. We also place great importance on returning market feedback to the original manufacturer or brand.

Customer reactions, retailer feedback, pricing response, packaging, product presentation, explanations, and sales methods can all provide valuable information for improving future market development. By creating this two-way flow of products and market information, we aim to build stronger and more sustainable relationships between businesses and markets.

What We Aim to Achieve

Our objective is not simply to sell products in another country. We aim to understand local demand, introduce products in practical settings, observe actual reactions, and use those insights to develop the next stage of the business. Rather than building a large distribution network from the beginning, we believe in starting small, testing the market, learning from the results, and improving the approach step by step. For products that show potential, we aim to develop opportunities for continuous sales and wider distribution. Our goal is to grow this process gradually into a sustainable business model.
